Experiencia negativa: I am more than dissatisfied with the service I received from Lucy – The Caterpillar Studio. I paid her to create two websites for my businesses. Unfortunately, neither website was delivered in the way we had agreed, and both were left not functioning properly. Her service throughout the process was extremely slow and inefficient. On top of that, she increased her fees four times within one year, which I found unreasonable and unjustified. After I had paid in full and realized that both websites did not work as expected, I contacted her to resolve the issues—but instead of taking responsibility, she blocked my number. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I absolutely cannot recommend her services to anyone.

I’m genuinely sorry to read your review and that you feel dissatisfied with the services provided. However, I must clarify a number of key points for the sake of transparency and to protect the integrity of my business.
Over the course of more than a year and half, I created two simple custom websites for you — one for a real estate business and the other for The Stylist Minimalist. Despite both being complex projects, they were completed at an extremely reduced rate of €250 each — a fraction of industry-standard pricing for this kind of work. The real estate website alone would typically be quoted at more than 20 times that amount, and yet I still chose to support your projects by tailoring a solution that fit your extremely tight budget.
Throughout the process, you received not only full design and build services but also professional photography, image sourcing, custom copywriting, domain and email support, and strategic advice for your brand and social media — all of which go far beyond what was agreed or charged for. I worked in good faith to ensure that both sites looked beautiful and functioned properly within the limits of the platforms used and the budget constraints you set.
You were very happy with the work initially — providing positive feedback after both website launches. The issues that later arose stemmed not from faults in the website but from unauthorized changes you made to the site content and settings yourself. I did my best to support you through these situations, even fixing issues caused by those changes — at no additional charge.
In regard to translation functionality, I had explained clearly that you had free version, and that any extended features (like more text or multi-language support) would require a small monthly upgrade, which you declined. This was not a hidden cost nor was it under my control. The amount was extremely small and this would allowed you to have the multiple languages you requested.
Regarding communication, I remained professional and responsive throughout — including during out-of-office hours and while on holiday with my family — but unfortunately, our working relationship became strained due to ongoing late-night demands and increasingly aggressive communication. After being blocked by you, I chose to close off contact to protect my wellbeing.
It’s also important to note that you were the one who ultimately removed both websites from the internet. Both were live and functional before this.
In nearly four years of running The Caterpillar Studio and working with clients around the world, I’ve never received a negative review — until this one. I believe this review misrepresents what took place and disregards the significant value, time, and care I dedicated to your projects. I am proud of the work that was delivered and the lengths I went to in order to help you, even at a cost to myself.
